Ramaphosa moves the country to Alert Level 3 President Ramaphosa

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has moved South Africa to Alert Level 3 of the national lockdown following his meeting with the National Coronavirus Command Council, the Presidential Coordinating Committee, and Cabinet earlier today (July 26).

Ramaphosa was addressing the nation on government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He has also announced the resumption of the sale of alcohol.

“The country should be moved from Adjusted Level 4 and be placed on Adjusted Alert Level 3, the hours of curfew will stay the same starting at 10pm until 4am. Interprovincial travel for leisure may resume once more. Non-essential establishments such as restaurants, taverns, bars and fitness centers may be opened.”- SABC NEWS
