Two Harare men were yesterday fined $100 after they were caught cutting trees from President Mugabe’s Buckland Estates in Mashonaland East Province

Godfrey Dhausi (26) and Fortune Mutevedzi (26) pleaded not guilty to cutting, injuring, destroying or collecting or removing timber or other forest produce as defined in the Forest Act.

Harare magistrate Mrs Vongai Muchuchuti convicted the pair due to overwhelming evidence against them.
