Pamhidzai Tracy Mbirimi aka Pah Chihera is billed to give Marondera residents an early Christmas present when she performs at the Buffalo Miles Bar tonight.
The soulful afro-jazz musician is scheduled to belt out songs from her album, “Runonzi Rudo”, especially the title track that has taken the industry by storm and is guaranteed to have lovebirds swaying throughout the night. The title song, featuring Prince K. Musarurwa, tells a story of a girl and a boy who meet in a park and both happen to be listening to the same song through their earphones, leading them to fall in love after entering into a dreamlike state.

The show will also feature top resident DJs including DJ Eddie, Luv Ruscio as well as DJ El who will mix up the flavours from local grooves to international dance tunes.

Co-ordinator of the event Walter Ushe said it will be a night of love as Pah Chihera performs in the town for the first time.
“The venue is a new club which has state-of-the-art features including wide screen TV’s and a perfect sound system to ensure the audience receive pleasure worth for their hard-earned money.

“This will be a Christmas gift to Marondera residents and I urge all music lovers to attend and support our local musical talent,” he said.
Pah Chihera’s music carries messages of love and life in marriages, with themes ranging from respect of husbands by their wives and the maintenance of happy relationships in accordance with African traditions and values.
