Jamaican reggae outfit Morgan Heritage makes its way to Zimbabwe for the second time in two years. The revered outfit is set to jet into the country on December 20 for a concert at the Harare International Conference Centre on December 21.
It will be a special event because fellow Jamaican singer Lutan Fyah will be part of the concert, making it an event that promises nothing short of fireworks.

When Morgan Heritage performed in the country in 2016, they left lasting impressions and many people are still talking about the show.

Organisers of the upcoming event, David House, said they are optimistic the concert will give reggae lovers an early Christmas present.

“We are glad to bring Morgan Heritage to Zimbabwe in the early days of the festive season. The show on December 21 will usher people into the festive mood. Most reggae lovers follow Morgan Heritage with passion and we know they will be looking forward to the show,” noted the organisers yesterday.

“Lutan Fyah will add flavour to the event. It will not be an ordinary show because another Jamaican hit-maker is backing Morgan Heritage. It will be a big concert.”

Morgan Heritage duo of Peetah and Mr Mojo confirmed their trip on a video clip on social media: “This message is for all people in Zimbabwe, all our family and friends. Zimbabwe we are coming your way once again. The Return. We are coming one more time… Zimbabwe see you soon.”

Lutan Fyah could not hide his excitement when he talked about the tour on a separate video clip.
“Harare, Zimbabwe I will be there live on the 21st of December and I will be accompanying my brothers great Morgan Heritage . . . Check it out,” he said before belting out lines from his hit “Ungrateful”.

Local artistes that are expected to be part of the show include a team from the Chillspot family that has the likes of Enzo Ishall and Bazuka. Soul Jah Love, Gary B, Templeman and Abisha Palmer will also be on stage and turntables.
The organisers said they will have a list of many talented young artistes in order to give them exposure.

Ordinary tickets to the show are going for $30 while VIP and VVIP tickets are pegged at $50 and $100 respectively.
