The court heard that Masuka suffered serious injuries and is admitted at Parirenyatwa Hospital. Chigari was arrested at the scene by police officers who were present. In another murder case before the same magistrate, a Chinhoyi University of Technology student, Enock Chichetu (25), last week appeared in court for allegedly raping and murdering his girlfriend. He was charged with murder. Chichetu was remanded in custody to December 7 and was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.
