LOCKDOWN: Businessman donates to the vulnerable Some of the groceries that were donated

The Tatenda Choruwa Foundation has donated food hampers to Glenview 8 residents, who have been struggling to make ends meet during the COVID-19 lockdown.

About 500 families have benefited from the gesture.The  families who were gathered at Glenview 8 Catholic Church were also advised to observe health measures which include social distancing and washing of their hands with soap at the church’s entrance.

ZRP officers were also present to ensure compliance and maintain order. Sekuru Michael Matawa (74) who benefited from the gesture  thanked the foundation for the hamper.

“I am grateful to this foundation. I had nothing left in my house to eat and did not know how i was going to get food.
“I thank God who gave us this son who donated food to me and the whole community.”
