1030: The President has finished his address. The body of the late Dr Nzuwah is now being taken to its final resting place.
1028: He said public servants should identify with communities as well as respect the culture and language of the duty station they would have been stationed. He called for a sense of duty and patriotism. The President said his Government remains committed to improving the working conditions of civil servants. He lauded civil servants for their resilience in the wake of Covid-19.

0959: Family spokesperson Tendai Mare, the nephew of the Nzuwahs described the late Cde Nzuwah as a passionate and enthusiastic farmer, a friend to his children and unparalleled professional. She thanked the Government for conferring the highest honor to their father.
0925: The body of the late national hero, who has been described as a civil servant par excellence has arrived, with the President, who will preside over the interment set to arrive soon.
0922: We are at the National Heroes Acre for the burial of Cde Mariyawanda Nzuwah, the former Chairperson of the Public Service Commission who died on Tuesday last week.
