Chivi South Member of Parliament Cde Killer Zivhu has urged people from his constituency to leave their political differences aside and embrace development in their communities. Addressing the community at Madzivire Primary School in Chivi South, near Ngundu Growth Point, recently, Cde Zivhu said local people should be united and work together despite their political differences, as they can play a significant part in ensuring that the country achieves Vision 2030 through actively participating in development programmes in their respective areas of origin.

“Let us leave our political differences behind and work together in developing our country to achieve the country’s vision of being a middle income country by the year 2030, and this can be done through unity,” he said.

“We have people who are sabotaging developmental programmes so that we will not achieve the country’s vision. This is meant to incite people to vote for them in the coming elections. But people should also note that they will not be able to reverse the time and do these programmes.”

Cde Zivhu called upon Zimbabweans to do all-inclusive developments where everyone from the community and the responsible authorities contribute to development in their communities.

He said people from the community should source resources for the development of their areas instead of waiting for the Government.

Cde Zivhu urged the leadership, including Members of Parliament and councillors, to push for unity and lead in developing the communities they represent.

He said everyone should contribute towards Vision 2030, as it is meant to uplift their lives.
“Let us all work together in achieving Vision 2030 as it is meant for everyone in this country, it is the best for us all,” said Cde Zivhu. “Lets work together and achieve this goal.”

In Chivi South, people from the community are working together in building schools, doing cooperative gardens and fisheries to sustain their living and also developing the area through the help of Cde Zivhu.

Cde Zivhu has already donated cement and assisted in the construction of classroom blocks, provision of computers and uniforms to over 58 schools in Chivi South in a bid to enhance conditions necessary for learning.

School heads and the community have been praising Cde Zivhu for the work he is doing in the schools, some of which already boost of good standards after he availed solar panels and computers.

The building of new school blocks and the rehabilitation of others is meant to create comfortable learning space.
