In response to the Civid-19 pandemic, Wintertons Legal practitioners has ordered its workers to operate from home starting from today.

The law firm’s managing partner Mr Andrew Mugandiwa ,revealed this in a statement issued today.

In response to the  Covid 19 pandemic the law firm  has decided to put in place measures consistent with and WHO and Government guidelines to limit exposure at the workplace and among staff members.

The measure will allow us to continue providing the best service to clients as well as ensuring the health safety of our employees.

Mr Mugandiwa said he had instructed his employees to work from home from the 24th of March 2020 saying this will remain in effect and be reassessed as the situation evolves.

“We will maintain a limited presence at our offices to accept critical deliveries and we will only have meetings when it is absolutely necessary.”

He said they were encouraging the use of virtual meetings .

“We encourage those who attend the offices to submit themselves to measures that will allow us to ensure the safety of those who you interact with at our offices.”

He said the law society of Zimbabwe is consulting with the Judicial Service Commission with respect to operation of the courts.
