Chafa beat Tafadzwa Dube in the 26 minute after Ronald Pfumbidzai was adjudged to have hacked down Clive Kawinga in the box.

The penalty made all the difference as Dynamos held on to the slender lead until the end of the match while CAPS tried everything possible but could not breach the defence and to their credit the Green Machine battled until the end of the of the match.

“We won the match because but CAPS United played very well and were in control of the game in most situations. Now we need to keep pushing and come to within three points of the teams at the top of the log,” said Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa.

Caps United coach Taurai Mangwiro felt that his team gave a good fight but were unlucky to lose because of some close calls by the referee Pedzisai Chadya.
