Freshly crowned Zimdancehall 2013 royal couple, Soul Jah Love and Bounty Lisa from Mbare, will be the main entertainers at an Xmas Eve show at Barca Sports Bar in Harare today. The husband and wife have been holding shows together as they prove once again that celebrity couples possess the chemistry and co-ordination to make memorable music.

Starting at 4pm the show is scheduled to run into the wee hours of Christmas day as the Zimdancehall 2013 clash winners mingle with fans and belt out hit songs including “Kunge Goomkoom”, “Chida moyo (Hauite Hauite)”, “Mbare Mbare” and “Zvandinomudira” by Soul Jah Love, and “Basa Rangu” and “Nhasi Ndozvitaura’’ featuring Seh Calaz and Bounty Lisa.

The bash will also feature Qounfuzed, with a cameo appearance from Zim reggae legend Mic Inity, and also performances from Nadine Brown, I Genius, Jah Child, Jah Enso, Tipsy and Weblo Fire, with Emcees Supa Yout and Shutter blazing up the microphone.

Barca Sports bar resident DJ’s will be on the turntables, including Striker, Chuckle Bery, Sir Ricardo and Bob Licke, all providing different tunes to cater for every reveler’s tastes.

Co-ordinator of the show, DJ Fatha K, promises a spectacular show as people enjoy their festive holidays through arguably the most popular music genre in Zimbabwe at the moment, dancehall.

“We want to thank all the fans who made Zimdancehall shine in 2013 and also pay tribute to Soul Jah Love and his wife and Queen, Bounty Lisa on taking away the titles at the showdown clash held in conjunction with the Turbulence show in November,” he said.

The show will be hosted by Top Mafia Sound in conjunction with Barca Sports bar as the venue providers as the nation gears for a festive season dominated by dancehall music.
