Zendaya is going to be hosting the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards!

The 18-year-old actress and singer was announced as this year’s host yesterday ahead of next month’s festivities.

Phil Guerini, vice president, programming and general manager, Radio Disney, shared about Zendaya hosting: “On stage and off, Zendaya brings intelligence, thoughtfulness and honesty – and an effortless cool factor – to everything she does, all qualities that are appreciated by generations of kids and teens, and especially their parents. We join her legion of fans in welcoming her back to the RDMA stage.”

Zendaya added, “We’re going to have a great show, a lot of fun and get to watch amazing performances, so I’m very, very excited.

Plus, I’m nominated again for artiste with the best style (You’re So Fancy! – Artiste With The Best Style), so I better wear a good outfit!”

The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards take place Saturday, April 25 in Los Angeles.

Still on the international scene, the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards are on tonight and fingers are cross some of our favourite stars.

Who will walk away with most gongs?

Austin & Ally, plus stars Laura Marano and Ross Lynch, Every Witch Way, Andrew Garfield are topping the list with more nominations.

Our girl Ariana Grande is also on the list and we hope her melodious voice will pay the price.
