Whatever you think, the Zambians entertained crowds in South Korea before eventually falling in the quarter-finals 2-3 to Italy yesterday in extra-time. Fashion Sakala scored his fourth goal of the tournament, in the match, and Patson Daka his second. This is the same Italian team that outplayed Amajita 2-0.

The Zambians rallied to a 2-2 draw, before the Italians snatched the winner in extra time. Before that Zambia were in outstanding form, beating Portugal 2-1, thrashing Iran 4-2 but losing 1-0 to Costa Rica. That gave them a place in the last 16 round where they amazingly beat Germany 4-3.
