Housemates that dine together don’t necessarily stay together in the Big Brother House but the happy times they have together around the dining table are treasured the most. On Monday night the remaining Chasemates had a meal together, sharing jokes and laughter throughout the meal. Now that there are a few housemates in the House, the fight for food has subsided and wastage seems to be a thing of the past. Shortly before she left, Natasha had complained to Oneal that the housemates don’t care about saving food whereas there are countries in Africa where children are starving and Oneal empathised with the situation but that was the end of it.

On Monday night before the eviction show started, Cleo was eating her dinner but didn’t finish it and Melvin asked her whether she’ll eat it later or not. She told him that she’ll eat it later and that she’s not large on wasting food.

So clearly with less housemates in the House, food is preserved and there minimal wastage. This is a good thing considering that this week is dedicated to the ONE Campaign that discourages such behaviour. Good job housemates. – DStv.
