Parents had time to relax with their kids at the Gateway Family Fun Day

Kids deserve to be treated with love and be exposed to places and events that can make them happy. These are young minds who should be led in the right direction and once anything is endorsed in their minds it is difficult to rub it off. All year round kids should be given an opportunity to express themselves,have fun and enjoy as the little innocent members of our society.Kids love to play,simply just because they are kids and they should play!

Parents should give them that opportunity especially in their presence it is indeed an awesome experience.

It is so unlikely that you will see them enjoy working though at times parent should instil a sense of responsibility in them by giving them monitored tasks.

But not all the time.

During the first quarter of the year different organisations, schools, churches and families have created platforms for the little kids to have fun in the form of family fun days.

Yes! These are very necessary especially when the whole family is involved.

Gateway Junior School also held their Family Fun Day last Saturday which saw families with kids from the school having a time of their life.

Most children could be seen enjoying the greater part of the day as there were so many activities lined up for them.

The environment was marred with lots of entertainment activities including music from St John pipe band and Prince Edward marimba group who showcased vast talent in their own respect.

There was entertainment galore at the Gateway Family Fun Day

Horse rides,jumping castles, slides, challenge games, lucky dips and many more activities were also lined up for the kids.

Talk of the food which was on many of the food stalls, the apple candies, candy floss, pop corn, braai chicken, burgers, chips, fizzy drinks, lolly pops and many others which the children seemed to enjoy so much.

Several companies also showcased their products at their stands giving kids and opportunity to familiarise with their expertise.

Most parents spend much of their time away from their kids and once in a while the whole family needs to get together and spend special moments as one.

Family fun days encourage the whole family to have fun while kids feel they are being spoiled.

This is not bad at all,when its fun time go ahead have the best of it because it serves the purpose of a happy family.

It is the parents’ duty to let their kids know that they are capable of bringing fun into their world.

Happy days are necessary for the little one because when they grow up the memories stick with them and they will also pass on the culture to the future generation.
