Zimbabwe Republic Police Senior Assistant Commissioner Abigail Moyo has urged those in employment not to rely solely on their salaries, but to explore other ways of boosting their incomes.

She made the remarks while officiating at Royal Secrets International (RSI) Business Awards which were held at the College of Music in Harare last week.

RSI is a marketing company head-quartered in South Africa that is into cosmetics and fragrances innovation. The event saw individuals that had excelled in marketing and selling its products winning awards.

“I would love to applaud Royal Secrets International for the job creation or rather income supplement that it has done in Zimbabwe and beyond,” she said.

Snr Asst Comm Moyo encouraged the company’s agents to be bold.

“To the agents, current and potential, I say to you all when you fall down eight times, get up. Everything starts differently, but as long as you have the commitment and consistency, you will make it. Never lose hope, you never know maybe next year or the year after we might gather to celebrate you,” she said.

Royal Secrets International chief executive Talent Madziwo said they have been in business for over 10 years now.

“Despite the challenges we may face as a business, we never lose hope, for instance this year we are one of the companies that were affected by xenophobia in South Africa where our headquarters was burnt and we lost everything, but we thank God we are still going strong,” she said.
