HARARE City coach Moses “Bambo” Chunga says his men are ready for his first assignment against Ngezi Platinum in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at Baobab on Sunday.

Chunga will be without several players who are away on national duty with the Warriors in Namibia, but he said he has enough arsenal in his squad.

The Sunshine Boys will also be without Mkhupali Masuku, their assistant coach, who is with the Warriors in Namibia for the COSAFA tournament.

“It is our wish to have a good start and a positive result on Sunday and we would like to play simple football and score as many goals as we can,” said Chunga.

“We have 30 players who are all capable and I look forward to transforming the club as it is well organised.

“The working environment is good and a top three target is achievable.”

Harare City will not have Farai Madhanhanga, Blessing Moyo and Raphael Manuvire who are with the senior national team while Learnmore Nyangu and goalkeeper Tapiwa Shangiwa are with the national Under-20 team. They will also miss Ronald Chitiyo, James Jam and captain Themba Ndlovu who are injured.

“When I was not coaching I followed the local Premiership very much and I don’t think much has changed,” said Chunga.
