Atletico after Tevez
MADRID. — Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has said his club’s representatives are in talks with Juventus striker Carlos Tevez over a potential summer move.
The Argentine told Spanish newspaper AS that his compatriot would be an “ideal” signing for the Spanish La Liga soccer club. Tevez (31) has reportedly told the Italian club he wants to leave.
“I haven’t spoken with him but I know people at the club are talking to his agent. It’s exciting to be linked with players like Tevez,” said Simeone. — BBC Sport.
