Since musician Jah Prayzah announced the album name for his coming “Mudhara Vachauya” theories have been propounded on who the “old man coming” being referred to by the artist. Tonight showbiz follower’s burning question will be answered when the musician unleashes the album at Harare International Conference Centre.Jah Prayzah managed to secure a deal with Zimpapers that will make the CDs available on each newspaper vendor in the capital beginning tomorrow.

That simply means where there is The Herald, The Sunday Mail, H Metro and Kwayedza the musician’s CDs will be available.

Dr Oliver Mtukudzi and Sam Dondo will be performing at the launch. Elsewhere a lot of shows and events will take place across Zimbabwe during the weekend.

Mahusekwa High School is a place to be as Miss Rural beauty pageant takes place.

Organisers of the event said they were happy to be hosting the competition that will see several models from Mashonaland East.

The organisers said the competition targets the rural girl child who is marginalised and seeks to empower her.

That competition is designed to facilitate cultural revolution for economic transformation of Zimbabwe.

City Sports Bar hosts Crazy Boys and Pala Fala dance group.

Sungura ace Alick Macheso converges with Suluman Chimbetu for a Simon Chimbetu commemoration gig that will be held at Extra Mile Leisure Sport. Joe Nyamungoma who is Sulu’s publicist said they decided to host the gig to commemorate the late hero.

“Simon’s contribution to the music industry and we have to stage a show to commemorate his life,” he said.

On the other hand Macheso is happy to be performing at the event.

“Simon Chimbetu is one of the musicians who assisted me and we are glad to be part of the show,” he said.
