Africa: Over 11.3 Million Covid-19 Cases Confirmed Across Continent
As of March 16, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,323,663 while over 262,089,426 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 250,932 and 10,450,589 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,696,823 and 99,727 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (1,162,236) , Tunisia (1,029,762), Libya (500,497), Egypt (495,373), Ethiopia (469,291), and Kenya (323,204).-AllAfrica
