URBAN BUZZ WITH BRIEZZY
The festive mood certainly is the buzz all around with most teens celebrating the end of examinations. Well, cheers to that.
Bop and the Beat Box So this weekend the City of Royals, Bulawayo, will be kept ablaze through a dance workshop that is being held at Studio 13, Old Brabfield.

Youths from all over the city that includes professional dancers, aspiring dancers and those with interest in the art will interact and learn the latest moves that are making waves in the world of hip-hop.

The host is Mount Pleasant-based Tendai Guzha, who claims to be the only certified street dancer in the land.

His credentials include a certificate with the Hip-Hop Associates (SADTA) from South Africa.

He is also the co-founder and choreographer for the most vibrant dance crew, High Definition.

Back to this weekend’s business, the renowned youthful choreographer is giving an insight into styles that include “popping”, “locking” and “krumping”.

“We are starting from the basics to the complicated moves.

“There is more to dancing than what is happening in the streets,” said Tendai.

Turn up the beat box and bop to that!

Couch Potatoes
Movie cinemas around the cities are proving  to be the places to be. What to watch this weekend is the movie, Mandela.

The production has brought A-listers from Hollywood like Idris Elba celebrities to South Africa where the movie was shot and premiered.

The Westgate branch of Ster Kinekor lights up their Christmas lights, marking the start of the merry season.

Keep your eyes glued on their screens for the next coming weeks as they will be screening a variety of Christmas movies.
