Wenger speaks on signings
LONDON. – Arsene Wenger insists he does not want to sign another forward despite Arsenal’s over-reliance on Olivier Giroud last season.
After Arsenal’s 2-0 friendly win over Boreham Wood on Saturday, the Gunners manager said he could be in the market for another central defender with Thomas Vermaelen’s future uncertain.
And he wants a goalkeeper, with Colombia World Cup stopper David Ospina set to arrive in a £3,2 million deal from French club Nice. Arsenal have, in fact, agreed a £3,2 million fee with Nice for goalkeeper David Ospina. The 25-year-old starred for Colombia during the World Cup – The Daily Express
