BLESSING Chimwamuchere scored a brilliant free-kick with his left boot to give coach Biggie Zuze’s Triangle a well-deserved victory in this Castle Lager Premiership soccer match in front of their home crowd at Gibbo yesterday. The goal came after 63 minutes when Tatenda Tsuro was fouled just outside the box to give the home side their chance to open the scoring.

Roy Mazingi, who was outstanding all afternoon, could not do anything as Chimwamuchere’s ball curled past the wall and his hands to rest in the back of the net.

Triangle were a better side in the first half, creating more scoring opportunities but Mazingi’s heroics denied the home team the lead going to the breather.

In the 9th minute Tsuro, who was receiving loud cheers every time he was on the ball, cleverly set up Nhamo Lameck whose thunderbolt was parried back into play by Mazingi and the rebound from Richard Kawondera was blocked for a corner.
