MUSHOWANI Stars team manager Irvin Nyakasoka says they are happy with the way their campaign is going following a 1-0 win over Black Rhinos over the weekend in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League.

The seasoned campaigners, who were coming from a 0-4 defeat at the hands of ZRP FC in the previous week, needed a second-half goal from Tinashe Bakali to bounce back to winning ways. The victory saw them moving four places up into second spot on the log table.

Mushowani, who are under the guidance of former Dynamos player Angirai Chapo, have so far lost one game. They have won four and drawn four from the nine matches they have played. And Nyakasoka believes they are in the right direction.

“The team is playing well, actually they are working hard. We were beaten 4-0 in the previous week by ZRP FC at home, that’s our only disappointment so far.
