LONDON. – Louis van Gaal is reportedly planning a £60 million triple swoop for Lucas Biglia, Pedro and Jasper Cillessen.

Van Gaal oversaw a 1-0 win against Tottenham in Manchester United’s Premier League opener on Saturday.

The manner of the victory was not comprehensive though, and the Dutchman is keen to bolster his squad further before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

Van Gaal has already splashed around £80 million on Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sergio Romero.

And according to The Sun, the United boss will bring in three more players with £17,5 million Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia up first.

Van Gaal apparently expects to sign Barcelona ace Pedro – who has a £22 million release clause in his contract – after their European Super Cup clash with Sevilla today.

And £20 million-rated Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen could also come in should David De Gea leave for Real Madrid.

Pedro has taken part of his medical at Manchester United after a £24,7 million deal with Barcelona was agreed, according to reports.-The Daily Express.
