HARARE City coach Bigboy Mawiwi was left convinced that his side has fully recovered from a poor start following an impressive show in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at Rufaro yesterday.

The Sunshine Boys, who lost six straight matches at the beginning of the season, now have 10 points and have moved two places up the log into 13th place.
City recorded a comprehensive win yesterday courtesy of a brace from Agrippa Murimba (13th minute and 57th minute), Phineas Bamusi in the 80th minute and substitute Crybert Muvuti (90th  minute).

The Bulawayo side had equalised in the 54th minute through a header by Bukhosi Sibanda.
Bantu Rovers thought they had got another chance to equalise again in the 79th minute when referee Jimmy Makwanda awarded them a spot kick after defender David Kutyauripo had handled in the box.

Obadiah Tarumbwa fluffed the opportunity when his kick was saved by goalie Maxwell Nyamupangedengu.
In a quick counter which involved Munya Nyenye, Takudzwa Chimwemwe the hosts punished the visitors as they got an insurance goal through Bamusi.
Mawiwi said it was a relief as they had missed numerous chances.

“I am happy. We talked about it at half time as we were losing so many chances and the attitude wasn’t good prior to the game,” said Mawiwi.
“We are now climbing, we are improving and scoring goals.

“I am proud of the substitutes who came in and made an impact. I give glory to God. Slowly we are recovering.”
The Sunshine Boys missed industrious midfielder James Jam who was serving a one-match suspension after he was sent off in the last game against How Mine.
Bantu Rovers coach Methembe Ndlovu said he should take all the blame.

“We didn’t play well enough to get anything out of the game. We lost concentration and we have lost too many games. We haven’t been good enough.
“We have put ourselves in this situation and have to take ourselves out of it.

“I don’t want to be hard on the players, ultimately I am responsible for the results,” said Methembe.
