Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang – A hall of wax replica of General Secretary Kim Jong Il was opened at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK. The hall is featured by a wax replica depicting Kim Jong Il standing in padded clothes atop Mt. Paektu, encouraging the service personnel and people of the DPRK advancing towards the final victory of the Juche revolution under the guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The gifts he received from personages and people from various countries of the world are on display there.

An opening ceremony was held on Tuesday.
Present were officials concerned, officials and employees of the exhibition house, soldiers, builders and others.

Present on invitation were Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, staff members of the Chinese embassy here and chief of the Great Man Wax Museum of China and his party.

ChoeThae Bok, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the CC, the Workers’ Party of Korea, made an address.

He said it is a great honor and pride of the great Kim Il Sung’s nation and Kim Jong Il’s Korea to have the wax replica of Kim Jong Il at the International Friendship Exhibition House.

He noted that it is an expression of profound reverence and the deepest respect of the Chinese and Korean people for the peerlessly great man that staff members of the Chinese museum made the wax replica of Kim Jong Il with all sincerity and creators of the DPRK more truthfully depicted him in such a manner that he looks like in his lifetime.

He expressed deep thanks to staff members of the Chinese museum for creating the wax replica of Kim Jong Il at the highest level after successfully making wax replicas of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese hero Kim Jong Suk so that they might stand in the exhibition house.

Zhang Molei, chief of the Great Man Wax Museum of China, made a speech.
He noted that Kim Jong Il, a great statesman, thinker and military strategist, led the Korean people to achieve a shining victory by dint of his outstanding leadership.

The Chinese people will always remember the exploits Kim Jong Il performed by making a contribution to the development of the friendly relations between the two peoples all his life, he said.

Kim Jong Il will always live in the hearts of the two peoples along with the history of friendship between the two parties and peoples with the long history and tradition, he noted.

The participants paid tribute to the wax replica of Kim Jong Il and looked round the gifts on display. – KCNA.
