Fighting for your prophecy Part I
Prophecies are for fighters and those who pray and believe, especially fulfilled prophecies

Prophecies are for fighters and those who pray and believe, especially fulfilled prophecies

Emmanuel Makandiwa : UFIC

From the book of 1 Timothy 1 vs 18, the Apostle Paul is writing a letter to his spiritual son Timothy saying, “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mighest war a good warfare.” Consider this word today to be the voice of God speaking to you. It is the sure word of prophesy, so I want you to really understand what I am going to say to you, much of what I have realised over the past few years that I have been in ministry.I have also experienced a lot in terms of how prophecies can be fulfilled and how they may also not be fulfilled.

Its every Prophet’s disappointment where you give a prophetic word to a person and all that he gets is a prophecy and never the fulfilment of that prophecy.

You wouldn’t want to continue prophesying if that is the situation. You will have to come back again and start setting some prophetic foundations which are required for one to get their prophecy fulfilled. So I want to assure you that what I am going to submit to you is something that can help you to embrace every promise and every word that was ever given to you from God by any man or woman of God.

I don’t know about you, but personally, I don’t enjoy hearing every time what God is saying about me and not seeing what God is doing for me.

You want to hear what God is saying and at the same time you have to experience it.

You have to get to that place where you begin to see what God was saying.

Otherwise prophecy begins to lose its significance, you cannot possibly know what God is going to be doing, you live up to 100 years and yet still you can’t see even a bit of what God said about you.

So what is it that causes people never to realise their prophecies. The fact that it is yours doesn’t mean you will get it. You will have to fight even for what is yours. That’s life. That is how the system of this world operates. You will get it after you have fought for it. If you are not ready to fight for it, then you will not get it. You get what you fight for.

So all the people that are going to get anything in this life are only the people that are ready to fight. There was the shortest road from the land of bondage — Egypt — into the promised land, Canaan, but God looked at His people and He said if they are to see war these people are not ready to fight, I would rather take them using another route which is going to take them about forty years.

And it took them forty years to experience their deliverance. Something which should have just taken them some few months simply because God said if they see war, if the enemy will begin to come after them, they are going to run away from the enemy and return back into their bondage.

God had to choose another road which was the longest for them because they didn’t want to fight, they were not ready to fight.

The Promised land, was the land that was promised to them, it was given to them.

They were not going to fast for it, never going to pray for it, they were never going to ask God for it, it was already promised to their forefather. But God really wanted them to fight for that place so that they would get it early.

This is a message that I have just given to you from the bible, where you see a father writing a letter to his spiritual son and he is encouraging him, I charge you Timothy, that according to the prophecies given to you, you fight a good war fare. The reason why my son you have to begin to fight is not just because you enjoy fighting, but because there is a word spoken, given to you by a Prophet concerning your life, whether your money, whether your marriage, whether your business or whatever it is, there was a word that was given to you by God at some point in your life.

And now in this letter I am charging you, am commanding you not to sit down until you see it coming to pass, you have to rise up and fight for every word that was ever given to you by God.

So Timothy you have to fight, but your fight has to be according to the prophecy. Which means prophecy now becomes your energy, your reason to begin to fight, you are fighting because you received a word.

So prophecies are for fighters. Especially fulfilled prophecies are for fighters.

You have to fight and the reason why you have to fight is because you have something pushing you. You heard God saying something about you. You came first, you heard God speaking to you that He is the healer and He can cure and heal all of your diseases.

It was a prophetic word that was coming not to the person sitting next to you, but it was coming to you, it was relevant and current to your need. And you heard it and you felt it that the Man of God is talking to me because I am here.

He is making reference to my present circumstances.

You are saying to yourself I cannot go back to bed, I cannot sleep because I have a condition in my system.

And if God is the healer, that’s my prophecy coming to me.

So God is not simply going to heal you because you heard Him saying so.

How many of the sick people are ready to fight? How many people are willing to engage in battle for what rightfully belongs to them? Are you prepared to fight for your marriage, for your business, your healing, and your prophetic word.
