HARARE City are confident they will collect their first set of maximum points when they take on Shabanie Mine in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at Maglas on Sunday. The Sunshine Boys went through their paces at ZB Sports Club yesterday under the watchful eye of coach Mike “Dread” Madzivanyika. Defender Munyaradzi Sako said his side was confident of winning their first match this season.

“We are doing well and I believe it’s high time we collect maximum points despite the pressure of playing away from home,’’ he said.

“Of course, Shabanie had a good start to the season, but I feel it is time we collect maximum points which will also act as a morale booster for the whole team.

“If we consider the way we have been training during the week, you can see that everyone is determined to come up with a positive result and I think the team will also regain lost confidence.’’

They are likely to welcome back the influential William Manondo and midfield hardman James Jam.

Madzivanyika believes his men can handle the heat at Maglas.

“We have had a slow start to the season, but we are getting there and the match against Shabanie should be the turning point.

“We are looking forward to a positive result and the boys were working hard throughout the week,” he said.
