BULAWAYO giants Highlanders ended the season on a winning note when they dispatched visiting Chapungu United with two well taken goals by youngsters at a poorly attended League match at Hartsfield Ground yesterday. The win saw Amahlolanyama ending the season on fifth position. Bosso went into the lead in the 26th minute when young Godfrey Makaruse made a mockery of the more experienced Chapungu defenders after exchanging some passes with King Nadolo and Young Warriors striker Gabriel Nyoni.

Chapungu goalkeeper Roy Mazingi never saw any action and might actually be still wondering what happened.
Nadolo scored Bosso’s second and final goal of the season in the 55th minute and from then onwards, the visitors, who were still not certain of their survival in the elite league, never really troubled the home team.

A majority of the few supporters kept on calling Charles Sibanda’s name as they urged him to score the 13th goal that would have seen him bagging the Golden Boot Award alone but it never proved to be. He will now share.
