Pole dancer Zoey Sifelani and chanter Gift “Shiga Shiga” Katulika will release their debut albums today.
Zoey launches her album “Totsemukira” tonight at Private Lounge while Katulika launches his release on February 19 at the same venue.

Zoey said the album was an announcement of her arrival on the music scene and said her fans should brace for her other artistic side.
She said she would do her best to combine music and dance to broaden her career.

“I love music and I love dancing. I am happy to be launching my album on Wednesday (tonight) and I hope people will like it. It is not easy to impress with a first product but I have done enough homework on the project and I have confidence in it,” said Zoey.

In an apparent attempt to strengthen her album, Zoey has roped in Suluman Chimbetu on a song titled “You are my Valentine” that promises to be a hit.

Katulika said his album “Two Years Later” is a reflection of what happened when he joined the late Tongai Moyo.

“We are going to release it on Wednesday and this is my true reflection of what I have been doing in the past two years,” he said.

Shiga Shiga rose to fame when he joined Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo to record the album “Naye” and briefly worked with Peter Moyo after Tongai’s death before being ‘sold’ to Energy Mutodi and ultimately working for raunchy dancer Beverly “Bev” Sibanda.

Shiga Shiga said he is hoping to strengthen his position in the music industry with his solo career. He has engaged the services of session musicians to ensure he begins live shows as soon as he launches his album.
