10:47 The main Independence parade made up of the country’s uniformed forces has marched into the National Sports stadium to mark the start of the celebrations. President Mugabe is expected anytime now and will inspect the Guard of Honour. They will then be a march in slow and quick time and the Guard of Honour will advance in Review Order before the president lights the Independence flame.
