ZIMBABWE was leading at the on-going tri-nations junior golf championships in Windhoek, Namibia, by 32 points yesterday. The junior national team are the defending champions after they won the inaugural event in their backyard in Victoria Falls. Hosts Namibia were in second place on 11.5 points while Kenya were a point behind on 10.5 points.

The Zimbabwe team are being led by captain Stuart Krog.
Meanwhile, close to 100 female golfers from across Africa are expected to take part in the 2014 edition of the Zimbabwe Ladies Golf Union Open Strokeplay Championship set for the Royal Harare this weekend.
