Minister Muchinguri-Kashiri implored members of the security forces to come up with new strategies relevant for the development of the country to counter economic restrictions imposed on the country in response to the land reform programme.

“Through various forms of political and social innovations, in the form of the National Development Strategy 1, the Government under the leadership of President Mnangagwa has managed to foster economic growth despite these restrictions.

“This has seen the launching of massive economic projects and rehabilitation programmes, which have earned Zimbabwe the World Bank ranking of the fastest growing economy on the African continent,” said Minister Muchinguri-Kashiri.

ZSC Commandant Brigadier-General Dr Joe Muzvidziwa said the college was determined to churn out competent future commanders.

“The college is greatly honoured to host you on the occasion of this joint graduation ceremony conducted by the ZSC as an Associate College of the University of Zimbabwe (UZ).

“Over the years, the college has sustained a desire to produce high quality officers whose mandate is derived from its mission which directs us to produce high grade commanders and staff officers who will lead the Zimbabwe Defence Forces through the 21st Century and beyond.”
