1454:  His Excellency has finished addressing the revolutionary party`s supporters in Gwanda

 

1450: Elections must be peaceful and no violence must not be tolerated ,said Sadc must assist Zimbabwe by supporting it through and through

 

1442: Indigenisation is vital in development.There is need to revamp Bulawayo industries that have collapsed so that youths can be employed.The Mining sector is improving and some companies are adhering to the Community Share Ownership Scheme,positive changes are happening to schools,clinics,roads

 

1431: The MDC came about and an inclusive government was formed which brought more harm than good as people were fooled in to assuming the situation had improved as there were food imports.However,note that industries are still not operating at full capacity.

 

1403: Health was another sector government focused on, it rehabilitated hospitals and built new ones. Land reform came about and  (ex-British PM Tony) Blair wanted to reverse the gains of independence and invited sanctions, thereby impeding Zimbabwe`s development.Sanctions also arrested  the development of industries such as Dunlop,Merlin and Willowvale Motors

 

1346: Shortage of teachers was one of the  challenges faced. The government had to train teachers,eventually opening training colleges and various universities to further train the masses in various areas.We thus have state universities that specialize in different disciplines,for example, Nust which specializes in Science and Technology

 

1329: “Education was an important aspect that government wanted to resolve after 1980,thus schools were built with the help of the communities and  ‘Education- for All’ for at least 11 years.”-H.E

 

1323: “As settlers had taken land away,Zimbabweans  had to claim their birthright at the Lancaster House Conference”-H.E

 

1320: ” Leaders did not choose which tribe was going to fight  but it was voluntary,all sons and daughters of the land”-H.E
