gone for shopping. It is reported that the woman experienced labour pains and began screaming prompting some elderly women who were in the queue to come to her aid.

The elderly women took the woman to a secluded area where they formed a circle while one of them helped her to deliver.
Men and other travellers jostled to witness the birth but security officers at the post dispersed the growing crowd. The woman gave birth to a baby boy.

She was later taken to Beitbridge District Hospital.
“We were busy controlling the people in a queue on the arrival’s side when the woman started experiencing some labour pains. We then took her into the immigration hall where she was cleared.

“Soon after that she started screaming prompting some elderly women who were around to come to her rescue. They formed a circle around her so that other travellers could not see what was happening. It took them about three minutes to deliver the baby,”  said a police officer who witnessed the incident.
The woman, who identified herself as Koketso said she was happy her baby was in a healthy condition.
