LATEST: Warriors train ahead of AFCON qualifier

THE Warriors preparations for their preliminary round of the African Nations Cup qualifier against Tanzania started off in earnest this morning at Gateway High School in Harare with 18 players going through their paces.
Coach Ian Gorowa has called 22 players for the match set for Dar-es-Salaam on Sunday but Willard Katsande, Nqobizitha Masuku, Milton Ncube and Kingstone Nkata did not attend the training.
The coach is expecting the four anytime soon although there are reports that Nkata has a slight injury. Ajax Cape Town striker Simba Sithole picked up an injury during the training session and failed to last. The medical team will take a closer look at him before the team’s departure on Friday.
