Weekends are known for being a great time to relax and recharge, ready for the fresh week ahead.

And it’s eight days away before the month of October, known for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, ends.

A number of stakeholders and organisations have been making the campaign carried out in various ways.

The theme for the month is Pink, and fashion wise a lot of icons have been running with the colour as a reminder about the cancer menace.

That is all about cancer in the month of October for now.

A lot of events are taking place this weekend on the entertainment scene in various parts of the country and The Herald Arts brings you some of the notable ones.
