United chase after Mane
LONDON. — Manchester United are trying to sign winger Sadio Mane from fellow English Premier League side Southampton. A bid for the Senegal international (23) was lodged with Saints last week. Barcelona forward Pedro had been a target for United, but he is now set to join Chelsea in a £21m deal. Mane scored 10 goals in 32 appearance last season after joining for £10m from Red Bull Salzburg, including the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history. — BBC Sport.
