Embassy representative Mr Adam Yidi Wadi said:
“We have many people who are in need here in Marondera. We have donated 30 wheelchairs and soon after this, we are heading to Norton. Our purpose is to close the gap of poverty and make sure they are confident enough to know that they are supported and loved,” he said.

Ms Alive Chimwanza who represent people with disabilities applauded the Turkish gesture and said most of them were struggling to get a wheelchair.

“We are grateful for this donation. We could not easily move from one place to another and reduce burden to those who assist us at homesteads,” she said.
