SEVEN Flames will be looking for revenge when they host Gunners this afternoon at Commando in the World Navi Northern Region Division One soccer league.
The Northern Region Division One league debutantes lost the reverse fixture 1-3 at Lafarge and coach Kudakwashe Matuwi yesterday they were desperate for a win.
“I think it’s time for revenge. We lost the first one and now we are at home we should win. We are prepared to take points because our battle to survive in the league should start at these opening games of the second round.

“Morale is high because of last week’s win. Everyone is ready to face Gunners, everyone wants to play against them.
“It’s one of our big matches and everyone wants to play the top team to prove that they can do it. It’s a must-win and we want to revenge so we should win,” said Matuwi.

Seven Flames were left bitter when they lost to Gunners in their first meeting, having taken the lead in that match and were confident of a win.
But the latter had other ideas as they overturned the tables to emerge winners and some officials from Seven Flames felt the match officials contributed to their defeat on that particular day.

And they will be expecting nothing but a win today to prove that they were given a raw deal.
Seven Flames are also hoping to move into the top half but they have to keep it in mind that their opponents Gunners will not surrender easily as they want to maintain their pole position.

A defeat to Seven Flames today might see them losing their grip on the top spot so they are also out to collect maximum points.
The log leaders, who seemed unstoppable just before the break, were held to a goalless draw by Twalumba last week.

In other matches set for this afternoon, Prince Kadewere will be in charge of Starbill for the  second consecutive week when they take on DStv Rangers at Gwanzura.
The Starbill assistant coach was assigned to lead the team after the elevation of former head coach Lloyd Chitembwe to the position of director of coaches at the club.
And last week Kadewere watched his side dismiss Blue Swallows 1-0 in Manyame.

He will be hoping for another positive result.
