FITNESS instructor Nyadzia “Kays” Rushika is now back home after undergoing a successful bypass surgery to repair blocked arteries in India.
Rushika, the former National Federation of Zimbabwe Bodybuilding and Fitness president, is now recovering from his home and is set for a review in three months.
The former Mr Zimbabwe contestant had also been advised to avoid lifting any weights or even driving during the period.
“I came back three days ago and I am now recovering at home and I want to thank all the people who helped us to make the trip to India,” said Rushika.

Rushika’s wife Francesca said Kays was operated on just a day after they arrived in India and spent some time in hospital before he was discharged.
“We left on July 16 and the operation was performed on July 20. He spent seven days in hospital before being discharged.”
