Blessings Chidakwa in Kadoma
Zanu-PF Women’s League national secretary for finance Cde Caroline Tsitsi Mugabe has implored women to be Godly during this month’s elections while voting for President Mnangagwa, whom she described as a God-fearing man with people at heart.

She urged members of the Women’s League to embark on door-to-door campaigns to drum up support for all Zanu-PF candidates.

She made the remarks recently at Kadoma District party offices during the league’s fifth provincial tour countrywide.
“Let us fear the Lord just like our President, a God fearing man. He was humiliated (by former President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace), but remained calm.

“As the elections draw nearer, let us remain Godly and retain President Mnangagwa just as we endorsed him to lead us.”
Cde Mugabe also urged members to attend church services.

“There are various denominations countrywide, including apostolic sects, so we should fellowship with one another,” she said.

Cde Mugabe also urged Women’s League members to support each other in the harmonised elections.
“There are only three female candidates for Zanu-PF in the House of Assembly elections in the province, so let us offer them our maximum support, including those aspiring to be councillors,” she said.

Cde Mugabe said members should step up their campaigns.
“Let us embark on door-to-door campaigns, go to the cells and create mutual relations with the electorate.”
She said door-to-door campaigns were very vital.

“You may end up meeting people who want to vote for the party, but have various challenges we might be able to address.
“Those votes will make a huge difference to our victory.”
She expressed concern at the poor service delivery from the City of Kadoma.
“We always are wondering why service delivery is so bad in this city, but realised that the local authority is being led by MDC-T,” she said.
