Apart from the many big prizes and horse racing, the OK Grand Challenge that takes place at Borrowdale Racecourse tomorrow will present an exciting entertainment programme featuring musicians Jah Prayzah, Suluman Chimbetu, Sniper Storm, Cynthia Mare, Victor Kunonga and Mokoomba.

The fun will be enhanced by various displays that always characterise OK Grand Challenge.

The line-up of musicians is likely to make the event outstanding.

Jah Prayzah is currently riding high with his new album “Jerusarema” that has been dominating play-lists at social gatherings and entertainment joints over the past two weeks.

Songs “Eriza”, “Jerusarema” and “Tiise Maoko” are rocking the entertainment scene in a big way. Jah Prayzah’s combination with Chimbetu has been outstanding since they did the duet “Sean Timba”. They are likely to go together on stage for the song tomorrow. Chimbetu has been doing well with his album “Gunship” that has seen him getting various endorsements. The musician has been busy since the release of the album and he has been able to manage his busy schedule well.

Award-winning Mare has a history of serenading fans with her unique music style and she has been one of outstanding female musicians making great strides at live shows and in the studio.

Mare said she was looking forward to making an impression at the event where she will perform with her entire band.

She is also expected to perform the OK Grand Challenge theme song “Pamusorosoro” that she did with Jah Prayzah.

On a dancehall note, Sniper Storm will be the man of the day. He will be representing the popular ghetto genre that has taken the music industry by storm over the past two years.

Kunonga and Mokoomba will entertain guests in the VIP tent.

Mokoomba manager Marcus Gora said all was set for the event that will once again light up Borrowdale Race Course.

“Such an endorsement is proof of the confidence that people have in us. It is exciting, although we don’t know what to expect. We are, however, using it as an opportunity to showcase ourselves to the corporates,” said an ecstatic Gora.

He said all was in place with preparations to make an impression at the red carpet event. “Our performance is going to be different since it is a corporate event. We usually do what we want in our shows but this one will be tailor made for different age groups. It still remains exciting though,” he said.

Gora said while they had done concerts with Kunonga before, they were ready for another day of sharing the stage with the jazz crooner.
