The tour is presented by African Canadian Arts Society supported by Slice International, Starbax, MTN Global Promotion, Zimvibes, New Stacks as well as Edward by ChemDry.

Tinos “Slicey T” Viriri of Slice International said he was happy that Nox won the hearts of many promoters in Canada.

“Nox is one talented youngster whose music appeals to both the young and old. We are happy he is coming to Canada courtesy of several promoters. All the travelling documents are in place and he is going to do a collaboration other African Canadian artistes.

“He will also take the opportunity to launch his ‘8th Wonder’ album that features hits like ‘Kupenga Kuti Pee’, ‘WhatsApp’,

‘Usazvinyepere’ and others,” Slicey T, one of the urban grooves pioneering group Slice International, said.

“I can confirm that Nox will feature a Canadian-based artiste as well as guests Nyasha Makambira and McDee who will perform during the tour. Advance tickets are now available and we encourage the African music lovers to secure their tickets in time. Nox has promised fireworks in Canada and we want to say to Zimbabweans come and let’s celebrate Christmas together.”

Slice International has been at the forefront of promoting Zimbabwean musicians overseas where they get the much needed exposure.

“We are hoping to bring other artistes in the mould of Freeman and Jah Prayzah to Canada next year. Plans are also afoot to bring American artistes to Zimbabwe, we also promote Zimbabwean music since Slicey T is also now on Canada Radio 88.5FM hosting an African show every Sunday and a television show with Omni starting soon.

“This is great exposure for African musicians as well as a platform to market events,” he said.
