Nissan is consolidating its strength in the Sports Utility Vehicle category following the launch of the new X-Trail 2015. The car has been completely overhauled. . . . the upright and off-road bias of the old model is gone and in its place is a more rounded body, which is inspired by the Qashqai.

In fact the new Nissan X-Trail can be viewed as a beefed-up Qashqai. They share the same platform and the family resemblance obvious.

If you park them side by side, the X-Trail comes up higher and longer, a clue being on the optional third row of seats lurking in the boot.

The new Nissan X-trail is a seven-seater, which means it also takes the place of the Qashqai +2.

For those with a slightly bigger family, the 7 seat option with EZ Flex seating will be just convenient.

“With theatre style seating, everyone gets a seat with a view!

The seven-seat option means its a viable alternative to the Hyundai Santa Fe.

The makeup of the new X-Trail was mainly done for families as it has a refined exterior featuring the distinctive ‘V’ shaped Nissan grille and daytime running lights are standard across the entire range, which makes this the most stylish Nissan X-Trail yet.

It not only looks sleek and stylish, it is also designed to make every day driving a joy. There are a range of options including 2 or 4 wheel drive with petrol and diesel options all packed with innovative features.

According to motoring fanatics, whether you are headed for the city, the beach, the bush or the snow, you can be sure there’s an X-Trail for you.

Fitting the family into this vehicle is one thing, but the real challenge is fitting all the essentials in too. With 18 configurations in the innovative Divide-N-Hide cargo system, fitting everything in won’t be a problem as you configure the boot perfectly to hold all your precious cargo.

The Nissan X-Trail is not just a pretty new face but it is also endowed with technologically advanced features like Nissan Connect and Advanced Drive Assist Display available across the range with the innovative Around View Monitor.

According to Nissan, “Got your hands full? No problem! With the innovative sensor activated tailgate on the Ti grade, all you have to do is wave an object by the sensor and the tailgate opens for you.

“That means you could be carrying some shopping, your golf clubs and the surfboard all at once and still be able to open the boot without losing control of anything.

“And if you’re getting in through the rear doors rather than the boot the wide opening doors allow for easier access to get everything in its rightful spot.”

Safety remains integral to every Nissan vehicle to keep its clients safe and giving the driver reassurance that they can rely on their vehicle.

Safety starts with the innovative Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection on the Ti grade, and the Around View Monitor on the ST-L and Ti grades.

Actually the vehicle keeps its eyes open for you. It also has a host of safety features that are standard across the range including; 6 air-bags, rear view camera, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System, Anti-lock Braking System, Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Advanced Drive Assist Display.

Standard across the range, Nissan Connect on the new X-Trail uses hands-free technology together with your smartphone to help you stay in touch with the outside world.

Nissan Connect is loaded with features and comes with apps such as Pandora, Online search powered by Google and Facebook.

It is still a capable car off-road with the 4WD range, with the intuitive all-mode 4×4-i system to constantly control the balance of power between front and rear wheels.

Hill start assist is standard on the 4WD models and helps prevent roll back when starting on an incline, so you can get moving with confidence.

The Nissan X-Trail 2015 is a car to have either for corporates or individuals.
