Mid-year party!

at the City Sports Centre in Harare tonight.
Dino Mudondo and Willom Tight further strengthen the force of Tuku and Sulu in an epic show that is set to illuminate Harare’s entertainment nightlife.
It seems the working relationship between superstar Oliver Mtukudzi and Suluman Chimbetu is growing stronger with each passing day, judging by the frequency with which they are holding joint shows.
Those who have been following the performances by the two artistes can attest that Tuku and Sulu have been attracting large crowds to their combined shows.
Even their band members have also developed a symbiotic relationship on stage, effortlessly blending to thrill revellers. Shows like the Castle Tankard and another one held at Pamuzinda Highway Exscape`, are some of the gigs that have seen the duo giving revellers a good taste of Katekwe and Dendera music. The good working relationship between the two culminated when Tuku featured on one of Sulu’s songs – “Kwedu” – which is on his latest album “Non-Stop”.
“This is a 100 percent unique non-stop Zimbabwean gig meant to entertain serious music lovers.
“Zimbabwe is blessed with many talented artistes and these are some of the best combinations in the country at the moment,” Josh Hozheri, who is promoting the show, said.
He added that all the artistes are ready for the concert, which will also coincide with Sulu’s 29th birthday party.
“All the artistes are raring to go and we have one of the best PA systems ready for the show as intelli-lights and security and VIP parking available. It is also going to be a befitting gig to mark Sulu’s birthday and this will be one of the biggest parties of the year so far,” Hozheri said.
Dino and Willom have been rehearsing for the concert for the past two weeks and fans should look forward to this formidable combination of the artistes who churned out hits like “Makoikoi” and “Bhazi”, making them household names before embarking on solo careers.
Tuku needs no introduction to the music world as he has a catalogue of hit albums to his name. He is basking in the glory of his 59th album titled “Rudaviro”.
