South African house group Mi Casa delighted their fans at Old Georgians Club on Saturday with an amazing performance on stage.
This was their second visit to Harare and what a great show it was from start to finish. The colourful crowd, the majority of whom were from Harare’s upmarket northern suburbs, turned up in their numbers for a dance under the full moon.

Apparently, the concert was meant to promote their new album titled “Mi Casa Su Casa”, which means “My house is your house”.
Their last show at the Harare International Festival of the Arts was sold out and this time they had another good crowd.
The show opened on time with Star FM’s Otis “The Flow” Fraser making sure that fans had a whale of time playing all the favourite club bangers.

“The Flow” as he is known on radio mersmerised the crowd throwing some serious dancehall and hip-hop classics.
Then came the group Evicted, a seasoned band fronted by Derek, who holds a bachelor’s degee in Pop Music which he attained in Australia.

Evicted proved that the group was on its way to stardom considering their fine delivery on stage.
It was amazing to see the guys enjoying themselves on stage as they curtain raised for Mi Casa.

The show climaxed when Mi Casa’s lead vocalist, “J Something”, took to the stage clad in black pair of jeans, a white shirt and a matching tie.

The music was soothing and the women could not have enough of J Something as they screamed throughout his  performance.
“Oh my gosh, he is so cute,” one fan said.

Mi Casa did not waste much time and went into their first track which whipped fans into a frenzy.
There was a bit of stampede as fans wanted to join J Something on stage and perhaps win smartphones courtesy of G-Tel.

But the music continued with Mi Casa in full control of the crowd.
They ended their act in style with a performance of the hit track “Jika” arguably the most anticipated number of the night.

However, fans wished the show could continue until late hours of the morning but sadly Mi Casa bade them farewell.
Mistys and Bb Music, the sponsors of the show were delighted the show went well and promised another massive gig before year end.
