The much-anticipated “Kumbumura Mhute” DVD by contemporary musician Jah Prayzah was officially released on Monday. From the videos, it is evident that Jah Prayzah went the “Tsviriyo” route and actually put some thought into them.

It is the “Soja Rinosvika Kure” video that can easily pass as the most interesting as Jah Prayzah features members of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces.

Shot in a bush in Goromonzi, the video depicts a real life scenario of a war zone complete with military drills, explosions and military air craft.

The bonus track, “Moyo Wako” is likely to melt people’s hearts with professional actress Dalma Chiwevera using her prowess to bring out the sentimental message.

“Dali Wangu” featuring Chama Girl can easily touch the soft spots of hopeless romantics as the duo ignites their chemistry in the video that was shot in the mining town of Kadoma.

His management took strict measures to curb its piracy.

On Monday, the six-track album could be found in many parts of the capital city while being sold at affordable prices according to manager Filda Muchabaiwa.

“We made an effort to get the DVD to multiple selling points in the capital, in various suburbs and in many cities across the country. They are going for US$1

“The contribution towards ‘Soja Rinosvika Kure’ video by the ZDF serves to show the strong relationship between us and we are grateful for the resources they availed to us. It shows they have confidence in their ambassador (Jah Prayzah) and thanks to them, we pulled off a fantastic video with the members of the military,” said Muchabaiwa.

The manager also urged fellow artistes to invest in quality productions if they intend to surprise and thrill their fans.

She said just like in their case with the latest offering, artistes needed to source resources to come up with creative polished work.

“The era of standing by the river or on top of rocks are over as they are predictable. It is not always about getting monetary gains in the end but giving your fans top class entertainment. These videos are supposed to thrill those that are unable to see you in action during live performances,” she said
