THE Inter-cities rugby matches will curtain raise for the Sables when they host Tunisia in an Africa Gold Cup match at Prince Edward on Saturday.

Zimbabwe take on win-less Tunisia hoping to bounce back after back-to-back defeats at the hands of Namibia, in a cloud of controversy, in Windhoek and Kenya in Bulawayo.

The Sables are now back in the capital and the inter-city rugby matches will be the curtain raisers.

Old Johanians date Old Miltonians at 11am before Old Hararians and Matabeleland Warriors battle each other at 12:30pm. Zimbabwe will be without Connor Pritchard and Andrew Roe for the match against the Tunisians.

The Sables are now battling to ensure they avoid relegation from the Group A1 at the end of the campaign and a victory over the North Africans could come handy.

The Zimbabweans will battle Uganda in their final match.

This campaign started on a promising note when the Sables beat Senegal in their backyard and came within minutes of beating Namibia in Windhoek. But, since then, the Zimbabweans appear to have lost their way and need to turn it around with a victory over Tunisia this weekend.
